At NJ Mobile HealthCare (NJMHC), our paramount priority is our patients. The NJMHC foundation is based on patient service and safety. By building connections with the communities in which we serve, NJMHC builds trust, accountability, and transparency.
NJMHC was founded in 2014 to implement state-of-the-art emergency medical services (EMS) and Next Generation EMS for the State of New Jersey. The EMS system of tomorrow will be focused on community-based healthcare, rather than hospital-based healthcare.
NJMHC was founded on the principles of the EMS 2020 vision statement, which is a commitment to utilize the EMS system to bridge the gap between hospital-based healthcare and patient home care services. NJMHC’s focus will be on treating patients with chronic conditions in their homes with a focus on prevention and education of medical conditions.
NJMHC’s structured healthcare model incorporates the principals of the Next Generation EMS and the Mobile Integrated Healthcare. NJMHC established a strong emergency medical services system model by incorporating medical transportation services, such as basic life support (BLS) non-emergency ambulance transportations and managed care solutions. The NJMHC EMS model is better able to service patients in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.
At NJMHC, clinical care is an exceptionally important component to our patient service. To ensure that our emergency medical technician (EMT) providers are among the best in the field of emergency medicine, NJMHC developed a Continuous Quality Improvement Program that starts with a rigorous employee screening and training process.
NJMHC ambulances are staffed by professional, qualified, and trained New Jersey State certified EMTs. NJMHC ambulance units are resourced by EMTs who are trained to quickly assess patients’ needs as well as help stabilize patients in emergency situations. Our ambulance fleet is equipped with advanced emergency medical supplies and equipment, and our EMTs and organization as a whole operate under the direction of a board-certified emergency physician. The NJMHC patient service is among the best in the State of New Jersey.
